By participating, you agree to the following:
How it works
Spotlight Collective is not a resale platform. Costumes are exchanged through a points system.
Points:
Have no cash value
Cannot be redeemed for money or payment
Costume condition
All costumes are pre-owned and may show minor signs of wear consistent with prior use.
Each piece is carefully inspected and presented to meet our performance-ready standards.
Sending costumes
Submitted costumes should be clean, well-maintained, and in excellent condition.
Items should be free from:
Visible stains or damage
Strong odors
Missing or significantly loose embellishments
All submissions are reviewed upon receipt. We reserve the right to:
Accept or decline items
Assign point values based on condition and quality
Points are issued after acceptance.
Items that do not meet our standards may be returned at the sender’s expense or donated to our partner, Dancing for a Difference.
Selecting costumes
All costumes are presented as performance-ready, but as with any pre-owned item, minor imperfections may be present.
Descriptions, images, and measurements are provided as accurately as possible. Fit and styling may vary.
All selections are final.
Shipping and handling fees apply and are subject to carrier rates.
Participation
By participating, you acknowledge that you understand the nature of a pre-owned exchange and are comfortable selecting and sending items accordingly.
Updates
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued participation constitutes acceptance.
